Alexis Knapp

Alexis Knapp is an American actress. She was born in Avonmore, Pennsylvania, and grew up in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. When she turned 18, she moved out to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a singer and/or actress. She has performed in numerous roles, including the TV show Ground Floor. She has also appeared in a few movies, including Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Project X, as well as Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2. She dated Ryan Phillippe for a short time, and during that time became pregnant. She gave birth to their daughter in July of 2011.

When she was younger, she had very serious classical training in ballet, musical theater and opera singing. Due to her being a single mother, she currently spends most of her time hanging out with her daughter, and going to kid friendly places.

Alexis has three brothers and one sister. She calls herself a tomboy for this reason. She does not consider herself to have been popular in high school. She feels that she is able to have some mental serenity when she is surrounded by chaos. When it’s time to party, she really enjoys listening to hip hop, as you will consistently find Drake, Jay Z and Kanye West on her music playlist. However, when she is at home, she likes to listen to classical music. When she was younger, she bred snakes at her house.
