Ashton Kutcher is an American actor. Known for his earlier roles in movies like The Butterfly Effect (2004) and the TV show That ’70s Show (1998-2006). Also known more recently in Two and a Half Men (2011-2015), where he replaced Charlie Sheen after his dramatic exit from the show. Currently he stars on Netflix’s The Ranch (2016-) and will appear in James Franco’s The Long Home (2017).
Kutcher doesn’t subscribe to any traditional religions, preferring to take part in celebrity mysticism such as Kabbalah, the Judaism for celebrities that aren’t actually Jewish. “Spirituality is doing things and then seeing the results and then believing in them. I don’t know that I’ve specifically changed that like, ‘Oh, let me kneel four times and say this phrase 20 times and now my life will be better.’ I don’t buy that at all”, the actor said, criticizing mainstream religion.
Main hobbies include music, video games, partying and working out. As to the last one, Ashton is a black belt at Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
“I am a fiscally conservative, socially liberal independent”, his words explain his political views rather well. Although being concerned with social issues such as gay rights, the actor has spoken against Obamacare and the idea of sharing medical costs through taxes. Regardless, he’s endorsed Obama in the past and Clinton for the 2016 presidential election.
His marriage with Demi Moore lasted from 2005 to 2013 when their divorce was finalized. He quickly started dating former That ’70s Show’s colleague Mila Kunis. The couple had a child together, Wyatt Isabelle, in 2014. As of mid-2016 they’re expecting a second child.
Kutcher has a fraternal twin with cerebral palsy and heart problems. The actor studied biochemical engineering at the University Iowa, a major he chose to look for a cure for his brother’s heart condition. He ended up dropping out to pursue a career in modeling.
