Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis is an American actor. He has worked in films as well as in television series. His most notable performances are in Moonlighting, Pulp Fiction, Sixth Sense, and the Die Hard series. Overall he has appeared in over 60 films which is quite impressive. He comes from a humble background and has worked in various jobs such as a security guard, private investigator, and bartender. He got his acting career started after he quit his job as a private investigator. He enrolled into the Drama Program at Montclair State University. He then moved to New York working as a bartender until his acting career finally took off.

Bruce has moved away from conventional religion. He use to be Lutheran until stopped believing in it. He has said that he understands why religion existed in the past, but now because of science we don’t need it anymore. Although he was once Lutheran he now says that “Modern religion is the end trail of modern mythology”.

His hobbies include singing and he even knows how to play harmonica. He is also fond of sports, especially basketball and boxing. He even got in trouble once for having a loud outburst on a live broadcast because he was yelling at the New York Nicks.

He has voted for both Democrats and Republicans. In 1988, Willis backed Michael Dukakis who is a Democrat. Later he voted Republican because he was a fan of George W. Bush. He has clarified that “I’m a Republican only as far as I want a smaller government”. This would seem to suggest that he might actually be more of a Libertarian, as “smaller government” is one of their big selling points.

Bruce Willis is now happily married to Emma Heming. He married Heming in March of 2009. Willis was married to Demi Moore before this marriage. Their marriage lasted for over 10 years. He did date Brooke Burns and was even engaged to her for a while, following his divorce from Moore in 1998. But Ms. Burns and Willis broke their engagement in 2004.

Random fact

When he was in school as a kid, Willis had a stuttering problem.
