Cara Delevingne is an English model and actress. Her first modeling job was at the age of 10 when she appeared in the Italian version of Vogue magazine. At age 16 Cara signed for representation and then it took another year before she landed her first paying gig in 2011. Her modelling career began to take off then, followed by her first acting role in 2012’s Anna Karenina. A breakout role followed with 2015’s Paper Towns, followed by a notable part in the Suicide Squad movie the following year.
Cara was born on August 12, 1992 in London, England. Her zodiac sign is Leo, and her middle name is Jocelyn.
Cara doesn’t appear to practice any religion, or follow an organized faith. Her public image towards religion seems to be humorous. For example, there is this tweet:
Someone just asked me if I was religious. My reply “@SnoopDogg IS MY GOD!”

Delevingne hasn’t shied away from speaking her mind about world affairs and her opinion of them.
In 2017 Cara gave her support for the United Kingdom to remain in the European Union. (1)
Delevingne is also critical of President Donald Trump and his policies playing down the importance of global warming. When asked if Trump’s rise to the highest office in America would change her advocation for environmental issues, Cara said, “If anything it’ll encourage me to do more.” (2)
Delevingne has come out and said that she is bisexual.
“As a child, I used gay as a bad world, as in, ‘that’s so gay.’ All my friends did,” she once said in an interview. “I’m obviously in love, so if people want to say I’m gay, that’s great. But we’re all liquid – we change, we grow.” (3)
Between 2015-16 Delevingne was in a relationship with musician Annie Clark, who performs under the stage name St. Vincent. “Before, I didn’t know what love was—real love,” Cara said at the time. “I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.” (2)
The couple decided to break up in September 2016.
As an animal lover Cara has thrown her weight behind several causes to support animal rights. She donated her Tag Heuer watch to raise funds for lion sanctuaries in Africa. Cara’s watch eventually fetched £9,300. (4)
In 2017 she traveled to Uganda for the United Nations cause Girl Up, which supports equal rights for women in African countries. (5)
Cara also is against the Coachella music festival because its owner, Philip Anschutz, is anti-LGBTQ, pro-gun rights and anti-abortion.She once praised a performance of Beyoncé at the festival on her social media, which caused some people to claim Delevingne was being two-faced.
“Some people are commenting on the fact that I posted about my anger towards the owner of Coachella and then about Beyoncé,” Cara replied to her critics. “My hashtag was #NoChella. I still refuse to go to a festival that is owned by someone who is anti-LGBT and pro-gun. I am allowed to shame that man and the festival and show my appreciation of an artist at the same time.” (6)
