Chris Brown

Chris Brown is an American singer and music artist. He was born in Tappahannock, Virginia. He is best known in the genres of R&B, hip hop, pop and funk. He’s released a total of eight albums, from his first named after himself in 2005 to Heartbreak on a Full Moon (2016), as well as a collaboration album with artist Tyga, Fan of a Fan: The Album (2015). The already famous singer got notoriety in 2009, when he turned himself in to the LAPD after a case of domestic violence against his then girlfriend Rihanna.

His career suffered a little in the beginning as he had ads and songs withdrawn from TV and radio stations and had to give up on public appearances temporarily, but ultimately the actor’s ability to continue his work was not much affected. In March, 2009, the singer was charged with felony assault, to which he pleaded guilty in June of the same year. The deal included five years of formal probation. As of March 20, 2015 the probation ended, ending his felony case.

Brown started singing in his church choir but was never outspoken about his religion before the Rihanna incident. Since then he’s proclaimed himself a born-again Christian, having even blamed Satan himself for beating up his ex-girlfriend. “I am seeking the counselling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”

A known drug user, the singer has gone to rehab and even failed a drug test during his probation period.

The singer has been seen wearing a shirt with the saying “Obama or Die.” Whether he’s a Democrat or not is up to debate, although he’s been reported to use homophobic slurs, indicating he might not be exactly a liberal.

Who is he dating?

Brown’s had a few short lived relationships after initially breaking up with Rihanna in 2009 but somehow the couple managed to get back together in late 2012, only to break up again a few months after. The singer currently has a daughter, Royalty, but is not in a relationship with her mother. Brown is allegedly dating aspiring model Ammika Harris.
