Dan Stevens

Dan Stevens is an English actor appearing in both television and movies. Stevens caught the attention of the mainstream when he starred as Matthew Crawley in the ensemble period drama Downton Abbey. Stevens appeared in three seasons and one Christmas special of Downton Abbey before departing the show. His star power went further skyward when he played the part of the monstrous Beast in Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast movie, released in 2017. At the present time Stevens plays the title role of psychic David Haller in FX’s Legion TV series.

In 2009 Stevens married South African jazz singer and singing teacher Susie Hariet. They met in 2006, when appearing at different theaters in Sheffield. They have a daughter named Willow (born 2009) and a son named Aubrey (born 2012).
