    Diane Keaton – Her Religion

It appears that Diane Keaton is presently a Christian.

In 1987 Diane produced and directed a documentary called Heaven which asked the question what people believed Heaven would be like for them. “I was always pretty religious as a kid … I was primarily interested in religion because I wanted to go to heaven,” she said about her reasons for making the picture. We also found a record of an October 2002 television interview Diane gave that said she believed in God, but for a period of her life she was atheist. (2)

    Diane Keaton Political Views

Keaton is a Democrat, but one that prefers to not use her fame to talk much about her own politics.

In 2008 she supported Hillary Clinton and her run for the White House.

“I can’t say how much she means to me as a female figure,” Diane said of Clinton. “If it doesn’t work out for her, of course I will completely support Obama and hope that she’ll be the vice-presidential nominee. Because I’m a Democrat.” (3)

    Diane Keaton – Her Relationships

Although she’s had several public romantic relationships throughout her life (to Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino), Keaton has never been married.

“I don’t know why not,” she once said. “I’ve known people who have had very long and happy marriages, like Walter and Carol Matthau, who were always very much in love, so I know it’s possible. And I know people who make commitments to each other and they weather the ups and downs, so I know it can be done… but it never happened for me.” (4)

At the mature age of 50 Diane decided it was her time to become a mother. She adopted two children, a girl named Dexter (in 1996) and a boy named Duke (in 2001).

“I remember when I was about 40, somebody told me about someone who adopted a baby at 50 and I remember saying, ‘Well that’s just ridiculous!’ I feel like that was a lesson in itself. Don’t judge… just don’t judge, because here I am, having done something that I said was horrible, or wrong, or a mistake. You do these things and they change your life and attitudes.” (5)

    Diane Keaton – Hobbies

She has a Pinterest board all about hair styles that have caught her eye.

    She is an avid photographer.

Diane also likes to buy and renovate Hollywood homes. Madonna purchased one of the homes that Keaton renovated for $6.5 million.
