Hillary was raised in a Methodist Christian home and even taught Sunday school before she began her political life. She attends the United Methodist Church in Washington D.C. and is also a member of a selective religious group called The Fellowship.
She is a Democrat that has run and lost to Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential elections. She is now running again this year in the 2016 elections and is the number one presidential candidate for the Democratic Party. A liberal lobbyist group rated Clinton as 75 % more liberal than her fellow members in Congress.
Some of her favorite hobbies are playing scrabble, doing crossword puzzles, and gardening. She is very passionate about politics and considers her work as one of her hobbies.

She has been married to former president, Bill Clinton, since October 1975. Even through the affair in the white house, Hillary still stayed married to Bill Clinton.
She has caused a lot of controversy with her statements on gay marriage. After a decade of opposing it, Clinton switched her stance in 2013 and began supporting gay marriage. When the Supreme Court was deciding whether or not to legalize gay marriage, Clinton tweeted: “Every loving couple & family deserves to be recognized & treated equally under the law across our nation. #LoveMustWin #LoveCantWait.” She has been criticized for switching her opinion in unison with the public opinion.
Hillary Clinton wrote to NASA as a child inquiring how to become an astronaut. NASA replied that girls could not be astronauts. This could be a reason why she started heading towards a political career.
