Jesse Eisenberg

Jesse Eisenberg is an American actor. He first rose to fame with his role in Zombie Land (2009). He has also been in in The Social Network (2010),  Now You See Me (2013) and its 2016 sequel, and most recently in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). A liberal arts major, he started his career at 15 on the TV show Get Real (1999), suffers from anxiety and OCD, and has a known history volunteering for non profit organizations.

Eisenber is Jewish but non-religious. He was raised in a secular Ashkenazi Jewish family by parents Amy Fishman and Barry Eisenberg. But we have found nothing about him currently attending temple or practicing the religion.

Jesse has an extensive history with volunteering. He has matched donations to a domestic violence shelter, and worked as an actor for non-profit Theater of War and the organization Voices of a People’s History of the United States. He’s also worked with projects such as Keep America Beautiful and Shoe Revolt.

The actor endorsed Obama in the 2012 election. Overall he does seems like a liberal who is most likely still a registered Democrat.

Who is he dating?

Eisenberg’s been in a relationship with Anna Strout between 2002 and 2012. They met while working in the The Emperor’s Club. After that he he started dating actress Mia Wasikowska until 2015. Apparently he’s started dating Strout again since, although the actor doesn’t like talking about his personal life so much. “I was there for, like, personal reasons. For reasons I don’t want to bring up in an interview”, the actor said.

Random Facts

The actor had never seen a Facebook page prior to shooting for The Social Network and didn’t know what a Facebook status was until a crew member explained it to him while shooting Zombieland. To this day he doesn’t have a Facebook profile.
