Kellyanne Conway is an American political activist currently serving as Counselor to the President for Donald Trump. Before that she was a Republican Party campaign manager, strategist, and pollster who was formerly president and CEO of The Polling Company Inc./Woman Trend.
Kellyanne Elizabeth Conway strongly follows the Roman Catholicism. Raised by a single heavily religious mother, she has developed with strong opinions towards being catholic. Through her statements she has been seen conveying a very strong sense of spreading the religion. Though recent comments have stated her being respectful of non-followers.
Conway views herself as a Generation X conservative. Conway is pro-life, saying in 1996: “We grew up with sonograms. We know life when we see it.” She spoke at the 2017 March for Life, an annual rally protesting abortion and Roe v. Wade. In 2014, Conway coauthored a memo for the pro-amnesty group FWD that supported a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants living in the United States. She currently serves as an important addition to Donald True team.
In 2005, Conway and Democratic pollster Celinda Lake co-authored What Women Really Want: How American Women Are Quietly Erasing Political, Racial, Class, and Religious Lines to Change the Way We Live. Conway received her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in political science from Trinity College, Washington, D.C. (now Trinity Washington University), where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Kellyanne is currently married to George T. Conway III. Together the couple has four children, two of which are actually twins.
Being a counselor to the President, she is the highest-ranking woman in the White House. Conway married George T. Conway III, a Filipino-American litigation partner at the law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, in 2001. The couple have four children, including twins, and live in New Jersey.
