Kenan Thompson

Kenan Thompson is an American actor and comedian . His hometown is Atlanta, Georgia where he appeared in his first school play at 15 years old, called The Gingerbread Duck. Kenan attended Tri-Cities High School which specialized in performing arts and made his debut role in D2: The Mighty Ducks. Thompson is well known for being a long-standing cast member on Saturday Night Live. He is also known for the Kenan and Kel show and his starring role in Fat Albert.

Random Facts

Thompson holds the record for the most number of celebrity impressions done by a “SNL” cast member. Currently this number stands as over a hundred. For his role on Fat Albert (2004), Kenan had to actually lose weight. He went on a weight loss program before shooting the film. This was due to the fact the he needed to wear a fat suit to play the role of Fat Albert. Once the filming was over he gained the weight back.
