Kristen Bell is an American actress and singer. She is well known for the roles she has played in various movies and television shows. She began her acting career starring in stage shows. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan where her mother, Lorelei, was a nurse. On the other hand, her father, Tom Bell, was a television news editor. Unfortunately, her parents divorced when Kristen was two years old. She attended the Tisch School of Arts in New York. She found her talent in acting and singing at an early age. On top of acting and singing, she was the voice of princess Anna in the movie Frozen.
Bell attended a Catholic school called Shrin Catholic High School in Michigan. When she grew up she considered herself a good Catholic girl and religion was a big part of her life. As she’s gotten older she seems to have moved away from the religion, although she says she still holds some values that she learned through Catholicism.
Bell is a big fan of animals. This is the reason why she often volunteers for animal related charities. She was quoted in an interview saying that she has always been an animal lover. She is a vegetarian in nature. She also really enjoys acting.
Based on her past political history, Bell appears to be a Democrat. She campaigned for and supported Barack Obama during the 2008 Presidential elections. Along with various people such as Rashida Jones, she visited various campuses and colleges in Missouri encouraging voter registration and discussing candidates. She is most likely supporting Hillary Clinton for the 2016 presidential elections.
Kristen Bell ended a 5-year relationship with her former fiancé Kevin Mann. She began dating fellow actor, Dax Shepard, in 2007. The two got married in Beverly Hills in the County Clerk’s Office. They currently have two daughters, Lincoln Bell Shepard and Delta Bell Shepard.
