Kristen Wiig is an American actress, writer, comedian, and producer. She is famous for her role in a variety of productions such as Saturday Night Live, Walk Hard, Bridesmaids, and The Martian. She made her debut in television in 2003 as a member of The Groundlings, an improvisational comedy troupe. She was born in New York and raised up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Arizona after which she got into her acting career.
