Marla Maples is the second and former wife of Donald Trump. Born in Cohutta, Georgia, the former Trump’s wife started a career as an actress back in the 80’s, and has had parts in some movies and TV shows through the years. In March 2016 she joined the women of ABC’s talk show The View as a guest co-host. She’s also worked acting in theater and hosting radio shows, and has even recorded her own music video. As if it wasn’t enough, she’s also worked a bit doing advertising and wrote her own memoir, to which a spokesperson for the publishing company said “the author and publisher by mutual consent have agreed not to publish the book.”
Maples studies Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism popular among celebrities who are not actually Jewish, such as Madonna.
When she is not watching videos on Jewish mysticism or talking about a relationship that ended almost two decades ago, the actress uses her time to appear in as many TV talk shows as possible.
Maples apparently stupports her ex-husband’s campaign. Having been married to him, it’s also not farfetched to assume she’s a conservative. “I always knew that this would be happening. It was something we talked about when we were first together, him running for president and what that would mean for our family.”
Marla was married to Donald Trump from 1993 to 1999 and has not remarried. Together they had Tifanny Trump, about whom the Donald has infamously said “Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father…” Tifanny was born two months before their wedding, not surprisingly to the couple’s history, considering they started dating while Trump was married to his first wife.
Her wedding with Trump had over 1,000 guests in New York City’s Plaza Hotel, including the infamous O.J. Simpson.
