    Michael Weatherly is an American Actor. He also is a singer, writer, and director. He is mostly famous for his role as Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo on NCIS. He got his start after moving to Los Angeles and getting a role on the show Significant Others with Jenifer Gardner. He played this character from 2003 to 2016. In January 2016, CBS said he would no longer be playing the character anymore and would be replaced by another actor.

    He is part Irish and was raised Catholic as a child. It appears that he has moved away from religion and received some heat for mocking Jesus and Religion. Him and comedian Sarah Silverman did a skit together making fun of Jesus.

    He loves playing music and often plays the piano or guitar. He is also a huge movie buff, even more than his character in the show. He loves James Bond and has been a member of the fan club since 1979.

    He is a social democrat. He actually changed the portrayal of his character on NCIS because he felt that the actor was offensive towards women so he toned it down. He is pro-choice and has been supported by other pro-choice organisations.

    In 1995 he married his co-star Amelia Heinle and had a son. In 1997 the couple divorced.  In 2001 he got engaged to Jessica Alba, but that also ended. In 2009 he married Dr. Bojana Janković. Together they have two children and two dogs. Their daughter is named Olivia and their son is named Liam.

    Random Facts

    Two of Michael Weatherly’s songs were actually used in the NCIS soundtrack. “Bitter and Blue” and “Under the Sun”. He is a huge fan of James Bond and has been a loyal fan since 1979. He is even a member of the Bond fan club.
