Miley Cyrus (Destiny Hope Cyrus) is an American singer and actor. She was born in Tennessee and started acting as a child. Her career took off when she she was a teenager with her role as Hannah Montana (Disney Channel series). She is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, who is a singer and songwriter. Miley now is known for her music career with songs like, “Wrecking ball” and “Party in the U.S.A.”.
Miley was raised as a Christian. In 2005 she was baptized in a Southern Baptist church. Many have questioned her religious beliefs because of her looks and behavior, but she recently has defended them. She was quoted saying, “Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind”. Although she is still religious, she does think that people that take it too seriously or literally are crazy.
Miley is pretty outspoken about her beliefs and tends to lean more liberal with politics. Even though she is religious she doesn’t seem to associate as a conservative. She describes herself as a feminist and is a strong supporter of gay rights. She is very passionate about the environment as well.
She loves to hike, go for bike rides, and spend her time dancing and singing. She enjoys being a vegetarian and loves to shop. Miley has even been known to be a decent horse rider.
Miley is very passionate towards supporting gay marriage. She is a strong LGBTQ supporter and even has an equals sign tattooed on her ring finger to show her support. Miley self identifies as being gender fluid and says she’s not attracted to someone by their gender.
Miley was born on November 23, 1992. This makes her a Sagittarius. They are known as being very extrovert and optimistic which seems to fit Miley really well.
Miley was actually born left handed but her Dad taught her to use her right hand. When she was younger she use to make money by picking up all the bras left from her Dad’s concerts. Another interesting fact about her is that she has a heart condition known as tachycardia (an abnormal heart heart).
