Muhammad Ali (1942-2016), formerly know as Cassius Clay, was an American Olympic and professional boxer. Ali was a three time World heavyweight Champion and Olympic Champion. He was considered by most “The Greatest of All Time”.
Ali was raised as a baptist but later changed his belief to Islam. He then changed his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali. He was a defender and ambassador of Islam. At the time Islam was widely known because of his famous status. He use to say that religions all have different names, but they all contain the same truths.
Ali Enyojed reading, writing poems, working out and sports. He loved music so much that he recorded two music albums called “I am the Greatest” and “Ali and His Gang vs. Mr. Tooth Decay”. Some of the songs were even written by him.
Ali was a Democrat and he even campaigned for Jimmy Carter in 1980. Ali mostly defended issues relating to civil rights and racial equality. He supported the Palestinian and also received a honorary citizenship in Bangladesh. When he was visiting Kenya he successfully convinced the government to boycott the Moscow Olympics in response to the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan.
Ali was born on January 17, 1942. he was a Capricorn. His Capricorn nature can be seen in the way he fought his way to the top rung of the world of boxing.
