Natalie Dormer is an English actress. She was born and raised in Reading, Berkshire and attended a private school in her youth. Later she attended school in London, where she gained the role as Victoria in Casanova. Dormer’s star status rose considerably higher when she won the role Margaery Tyrell in HBO’s Game of Thrones. She has also starred in Captain America: The First Avenger, Picnic at Hanging Rock and Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.

Natalie was engaged to Anthony Byrne in 2011, whom she had met while filming The Tudors in 2007. The two have decided not to marry due to their lives being heavy in filming and acting. Natalie has also mentioned that, prior to engagement, it was difficult for her to understand Anthony with his heavy Irish accent. Since then she has come to understand Irish slang more easily and considers Ireland a second home to her.
