Prince William

Prince William, or William Arthur Philip Louis, is the Duke of Cambridge and the elder son of Prince Charles of Wales, and Princess Diana of Wales. He is brother to Prince Harry, and he his second in line to the throne after his father replaces his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. He went to four schools and in 2006 completed his training to be an officer cadet in the Blues and Royals regiment. He completed training in 2008 at the Royal Air Force College Cranwell. In 2009 he became a full-time pilot on the RAF Search and Rescue Force.

He was made Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, Baron Carrickfergus in 2011 prior to marrying his wife, Catherine (Kate) Middleton. They have since had a son, Prince George of Cambridge, and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

Prince William Religion

As part of the Royal Family, Prince William has to follow the Church of England, also called the Anglican Church. He was committed into the Anglican faith in 1997, however only attends church services a few times a year. A lot of people speculate that William is not very religious, but others think that by the time he takes the throne and becomes the Defender of Faith and the Supreme Governor of the Church he will take his duties seriously.

Prince William Hobbies

Prince William loves sports and is the president of Enland’s Football Association and for the Welsh Rugby Union he is the Vice Royal Patron. When he was younger he participated in skiing, tennis, soccer, hockey, rafting, rowing, and shooting. He enjoys helping disadvantaged people and children as he is a contributor to 19 different charities. He also really liked becoming a member of the RAF Search and Rescue team. Another hobby of Williams’ is taking low-profile trips to the movies.

Prince William Political Views

All members of the Royal Family are supposed to be politically neutral and not affiliate with any party. This being said, Prince William has dabbled a bit in politics when he gave his speech on environmentalism and also when he met President Obama. They discussed world affairs and William criticized China’s role in the ivory trade.

Prince William made waves in 2012 when he became the first British Royal to support gay people and condemn homophobia.
