Rob Lowe

Rob Lowe is an American actor. He has been nominated for six Golden Globe Awards. He was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. Lowe’s family moved to Dayton, Ohio, when he was young. He spent the 1980s as an individual from the “Imp Pack”, a gathering of youthfu and foolhardy on-screen characters and performing artists. Some of his more popular work includes Brothers and Sisters, Parks and Recreation, and additionally a Golden Globe assignment for his work on The Grinder.

Lowe was raised as an Episcopalian, however, his maternal grandparents were Methodists. Lowe says he experienced childhood in a “conventional Midwestern setting, comprised by substantial, Catholic families” and concedes that his family wasn’t excessively religious and once in a while went to chapel.

It appears that he is more liberal and most likely a Democrat. Lowe is actual a big fan of politics and has been since his childhood. He is regularly referred to as a Republican but it looks like he throws his support to the Democratic party. In 1998 he donated to the Democratic party and was a big supporter of Democrat Michael Dukakis. He even joined him on his campaign calling him “a significantly better than average, sincere man.”

He has been married to Sheryl Berkoff for quite some time. They only dated for 11 months until they decided to get married. They got engaged in August, 1990, and got married in July of 1991.

1. He’s hard of hearing in one ear.

2 While going to Australia in 1990, he was so high on sedatives that all he remember is going to Sydney Zoo and getting tattooed.
