    Robert Knepper is an American actor. He was born in July 8, 1959. Robert started working in theater after moving to NYC before completing a degree in drama in Northwestern University. He originally didn’t intend to walk in film or television but was cast in 1986 for his first TV role. He’d go on to have bigger roles in feature movies but only almost 20 years after his TV debut did he land the role for which he’d get most recognition, criminal Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell in the show Prison Break (2005-2009) as well as its movie. The actor will reprise his role alongside the rest of the cast in the 2017 series sequel.

    Knepper’s Prison Break character, T-Bag, was named after Theodore Roosevelt. The actor based the character’s hairstyle around an old science teacher, who according to him always had a “poofy-bit” sticking up the front of his hair.
