While Ryan has asked by his fans about what religion he believes in, the YouTube celeb hasn’t responded. Maybe he fears alienating some of his fans with an answer?
Does Ryan lean Republican or Democrat? That’s a tough question to answer. At times he’s leaned moderately left on current political topics, like the case below:
Not fan of Trump but I find it ironic that the same peeps criticizing him for “not accepting the results” are doin exactly that now.

By far Higa’s most politically charged video was one where he expressed his views on police violence and the use of force on citizens:
It does appear that Ryan leans towards the left, but he seems to be disillusioned with the mainstream politics choices. Here’s one tweet he made in 2010:
There are so many stupid political commercials bashing each other. It discourages me from voting.

“They’re very random, but at the same time, I try to target things that I’m personally interested in, and things that I think my viewers are interested in. So when there’s the whole epidemic of Ebola, for example, I made a video about that because it was being talked about. Even though Ebola has been around for a long time, it was in the news and everybody was talking about this big scare — it became a topical thing.” (1)
