Sarah Wayne Callies

Sarah Wayne Callies is an American actress. Born in La Grande, Illinois, she went to DartMouth College in New Hampshire while keeping her interest in theatre. She got a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2002 from Denver’s National Theater Conservatory. After moving to New York in 2003 she got her role in Queens Supreme (2003-2007) before getting her part as Sara Tancredi in Prison Break (2005-2009). Sarah is also known for her part as Lori Grimes in The Walking Dead (2010-2013). She’ll reprise her role as Tancredi in Prison Break’s 2017 sequel.

Dr. Sara Tancredi, Callies’ character from Prison Break, was removed from the series and was only brought back because of fan demands. Not only that, but she’d go on to star on the movie and, as mentioned, to reprise her role in the sequel series.
