Stephen Curry and his Hobbies and Beliefs

Wardell Stephen “Steph” Curry, also known as Steph Curry, is an NBA basketball player currently playing for the Golden State Warriors. In 2015 Stephen Curry won the MVP award and led his team to an NBA championship. He is listed at 6 foot 3 inches, weight around 190lbs. He played college basketball at Davidson College which is located in North Carolina. In 2017 he won his second NBA championship.

Stephen Curry Religion

Steph Curry is a Christian who is very open about his religion. He grew up going to Church and said he was 13 when he accepted Jesus into his life. He attended Charlotte Christian School for high school, and excelled at basketball. When he scores or celebrates he usually pounds on his chest and points to the sky which he does to show he has a heart for God. During his acceptance speech for winning MVP he gave thanks to his Lord and Savior. His favorite verse from the Bible is, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, Philippians 4:13. This script can even be seen on some of his shoes with the number: 4:13.

Stephen Curry Political Views

Curry is very outspoken about his religion, but his political views are less obvious. Curry has showed support for Obama and his initiative to provide mosquito nets to areas affected by malaria. He was even invited to the White House to give a speech about it. It’s not certain if he votes as a republican or a democrat, but since he is very religious some people might think he’s republican. But through the way he carries himself and the things he supports, we would have to guess that he is indeed a democrat. Politics don’t appear to be as important as basketball and religion for Stephen.

Stephen Curry Hobbies

Curry loves playing golf and thoroughly enjoys playing basketball. He excels in math and loves doing Sudoku puzzles. Steph has a sweet tooth as well and really loves eating candy. Some of his favorite movies are “The Mask”, “A Walk to Remember” and “The Master of Disguise”. One of his favorite TV shows is “How to Get Away with Murder”. He also is very active in Charities and loves helping the less fortunate.
