Stormy Daniels

Stormy Daniels is the stage name of Stephanie Clifford, an adult film actress, director and exotic dancer. Daniels is embroiled in a public dispute with President Donald Trump over an alleged affair she claims took place in 2006. She was paid $130,000 by Trump’s lawyer Daniel Cohen, reportedly to keep her silent about the intimate relationship, in the lead-up to Trump’s presidential run in 2016.

Daniels was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her birthday is March 17, 1979, making her a Pisces.

Daniels stated that she is a Republican when she made a run for the office of Governor in Louisiana in 2010. “I am ready today to declare that should I seek the office of U.S. Senator from the great state of Louisiana, that I will do so as a Republican,” she said at the time.

Until her run for office Daniels was a registered Democrat. However, what brought her over to the Republican party was her feeling that there was more acceptance of the adult industry by the RNC. This came after Republican committee members was reimbursed $1,900 for attending an adult nightclub in Los Angeles under the label of acquiring donations. When the strip club visit came to light it drew the ire of several high profile Republicans. Daniels said that rather than be upset and embarassed, Republicans should be proud that the funds were taken from a legitimate and legal business.

“As someone who has worked extensively in both the club and film side of the Adult Entertainment Industry, I know from experience that a mere $1900 outlay at a club with the reputation of Voyeur is a clear indication of a frugal investment with a keen eye toward maximum return,” Daniels said.

“Now I cannot help but recognize that over time my libertarian values regarding both money and sex and the legal use of one for the other is now best espoused by the Republican Party.” (2)

While she may identify with Republican values personally, her career as an adult actress and stripper is not viewed by conservatives as wholesome. When Stormy Daniels conceded her run for governor in 2010, she cited that people did not take her candidacy seriously because of her scarlet letter profession. (3)

Daniels hasn’t told the media about her religious beliefs. There are adult film performers who are Christian just as there are ones who are athiest or agnostic, so Stormy’s religious convictions could fall anywhere.

Stormy has been married three times. Her alleged affair with Donald Trump took place in the summer of 2006 when she was single and between her first and second marriages.

Daniels is currently married to husband number three, Glendon Crain (also an adult film performer as well as a drummer for various bands.) They have one daughter, born in 2011.
