Taylor Schilling

Taylor Schilling is an American Actress best known for her roles as Piper Chapman in the TV Series, Orange is the New Black. She got her start in acting by working with Meryl Streep on the drama Dark Matter. She was raised in West Roxbury, Massachusetts spending split time with her divorced parents. She picked up her interest in acting during her years in middle school.

Taylor Schilling Religion

Taylor isn’t a very religious person but does believe in some sort of higher power. In this interview she talks with father Reed about her role in the movie, The Lucky One, and answers some questions in regards to religion. She said she agrees with Zac Efron and that she feels that there is some sort of higher power but that’s about the extent of her religion.

Taylor is a big fan of the NBC drama ER and loves to binge watch Downtown Abby. She also loves acting and is known for researching and visiting places firsthand to perfect her roles. She is not a fan of social media and prefers talking to people in person.

Taylor Schilling Political Views

Taylor tends to lean more liberal in her political views. When asked about Donald Trump she said, “I’ve been kind of across-the-board pretty offended by Mr. Trump”. Taylor also identifies as a lesbian which would further suggest that she’s a Democrat. Members of the Tea Party consider her way more conservative and even a hero, simply because she played that kind of role in the book/movie Atlas Shrugged: Part I. The author of the book is a known conservative/libertarian who is against big government, feminism, and even calls himself chauvinistic. But it seems foolish to assume that since she played the part that she believes in those values.

Who is she dating?

Taylor has been seen with Carrie Brownstein a lot recently, and appears to have been dating for quite a few months. Carrie is also an actress and is known for her role on the show Portlandia.

Taylor Schilling has said that playing her role on Orange is the New Black helped her realize she was a lesbian. She is currently dating Carrie Brownstein and isn’t shy about it.
