The Miz

The Miz (real name Michael Gregory Mizanin) is an American pro wrestler, television reality star and action film actor. He currently performs under his stage name in the WWE. He made his TV debut in 2001 when Michael was one of the castmates on MTV’s The Real World: Back to New York. Following his stint on The Real World, The Miz subsequently appeared on Road Rules Challenge for three seasons. In 2006 he competed on Fear Factor and won the overall season. That same year The Miz made his debut in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Mizanin was born on October 8, 1980 in Parma, Ohio. His zodiac sign is Libra.

We haven’t spotted one instance of The Miz talking about a belief in God, or thanking a higher power for his successes. Perhaps this means that he prefers to keep his religious beliefs to himself, or is it an indication that he is an agonostic or athiest? For the moment the jury is out.

The Miz Politics

Since President Trump took office Mizanin has kept his comments about politics to himself. During Barack Obama’s last term in office, the WWE superstar was critical of Obama’s policies, speaking out on his personal Twitter feed.

“I would love for President Obama to visit my hometown of Parma, Ohio, and spend time behind the counter at my father’s Mr. Hero,” Miz tweeted. “Aside from eating the best sandwiches in all of Ohio, the president can talk to real Americans who work hard every day.”

The pro wrestler was also critical of Obama’s tax policies during the latter’s run. With President Trump issuing tax cuts for folk earning more than $100,000 a year, this might endear The Miz towards the Republican way of government.

Mike is married to Maryse Ouellet who is also employed by the WWE. The two married in 2014 and have one daughter, Monroe, born March 2018.
