Tina Fey is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer. She is well known for her role on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. One of her more popular SNL acts is impersonating the former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. She started her career in comedy by participating in an improvisational group called The Second City. Tina then got a job as a writer for SNL, working her way up to the head writer. She started acting on SNL as a co-anchor of the weekend update. This lead her to become a writer and actor in her movie Mean Girls (2004). Other popular movies she has been in include Sisters (2015), Date Night (2010), and Baby Mama (2008).
Tina was raised as an Eastern Orthodox Christian. She was married in a Greek Orthodox church in 2011. It’s not sure how religious she still is but it appears that she still holds some values from her religion.
Some of her favorite hobbies include cooking, sewing, and making people laugh. She talks about her love for sewing and knitting in her book BossyPants.
Tina is liberal and is most likely a Democrat. She is a big supporter of women’s right and is very open about it. In her autobiography, BossyPants, she talks about how she had to make things clear that she should be taken seriously in the comedy world, generally since women are the minority.
Tina is married to Jeff Richmond, a well known piano player and composer. They met in 1994 through the improvisational group, Second City. They got married in June 3, 2001. Together they have two daughters.
Tinay Fey has a larger scar on the insider of her cheek and chin. It is several inches long and happened when she “was slashed in the face by a stranger in the alley behind my house”. This all happened when she was in kindergarten.
