T.J. Miller is an American actor, comedian, singer, and director. He is well known for his role as Erlich Bachman in HBO’s series, Silicone Valley. Other big roles he has had are in the movies DeadPool, Transformers: Age of Extinction, and CloverField. He started his acting/comedy career by being a member of the “round table” on the Chelsea Lately show. He later went on to perform his own Comedy Central specials, “Mash Up” and “No Real Reason”. For his singing career, Miller released a comedy rap called The Extended Play E.P.
SO Magazine asked T.J. if he believes in God and he answered, “Nope. I believe in the fundamental existence of absurdity over religion, although they can coexist. Just not for me”. So it appears that he is pretty vocal about being Atheist.
T.J. likes to study philosophy. His favorite philosopher is Friedrich Nietzsche. He raves about the great German thinker and has claimed to be a ‘Nietzsche scholar.’ Miller likes to write and has recently written a screenplay called “The Nihilist”. T.J. likes to joke about his life and enjoys his podcast, “Cashing in with T.J. Miller”.
Miller is likely a democrat. He tweeted in July of this year about Donald Trump, “Let’s stop this nonsense. Trump is a madman. He’s a lunatic. He’ll ruin us globally. Let’s fuck him up in November.” It is safe to say he voted for Clinton.
T.J. is married to Kate Gorney. They were dating for a while until they got engaged in 2014. A year later they got married on September 6th, 2015.
Miller is actually fluent in Spanish (Castellano). He studied someone interesting things when he attended Frichess Theatre Urbain. Some of which included, stilt walking, physical theater, and circus acrobatics.
