Tomi Lahren is an American TV host, online host, and conservative political commentator. She recently has been suspended from The Blaze. She was previously the host of On Point with Tomi Lahren on One America News Network (OAN).
She is a proud Christian and holds a lot of conservative values. Conservatism to her means someone that has an appreciation for the Constitution, that has an appreciation for a limited government, and has an appreciation of our nation’s founding and our history. That also means a lot of her values are rooted in the Christian faith and she considers herself an active Christian.
Lahren grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota, in a military family, and attended Central High School. She is of German and Norwegian descent. She graduated from UNLV in 2014 and moved to San Diego shortly thereafter. Lahren also hosted and was an associate producer for the political roundtable show, The Scramble for her university’s television program.
Tomi is conservative whose ideals learn more towards being Libertarian than Republican. She also has been described as an “anti-feminist who admires strong women”, whose positions on immigration and Islam are similar to those of Donald Trump. She has criticized African American people for various social issues, including drug abuse and unemployment. She has stated that she believes in women’s empowerment, and looks up to women from the political left and the political right. In July 2016, Lahren wrote a tweet comparing the Black Lives Matter movement to the Ku Klux Klan. In November 2016, Lahren released a video on the protests against Donald Trump. In March of 2017, she was suspended from The Blaze after making comments about being “pro-choice”. According to Glen Beck, the reason for her suspension, was because she wasn’t being “intellectually honest”.
She use to be dating Ex-Navy Seal, Jerad Christian, back in February of 2015. They have since split up and it appears that she is currently single. There appears to be rumors of some other possible men but until it’s official we leave her status as single. If you know of something please feel free to comment below!
Hoping to find an internship in political commentary, Lahren applied to One America News Network (OAN), obtained an interview, and was instead offered the opportunity to host her own show. She moved to San Diego, California and began working for OAN. On Point with Tomi Lahren debuted in August 2014.
