Wentworth Miller is an American actor. He was born on June 2, 1972. He started acting in 1995 and had a few small roles in movies and TV shows. One of his first roles was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1998). After that he landed his most recognizable role starting as Prison Break’s Michael Scofield in 2005. The series lasted four seasons and had one movie. In 2016 the show was revived for a sequel run that aired in 2017. He is also making a new legion of fans playing Captain Cold in several of The CW’s superhero series including being a regular on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
Miller has Jewish ancestry but doesn’t openly identify as Jewish. His views about the world imply he’s non-religious, as the only place he talks about his faith is in the context of his profession. “There has to be a measure of faith. That’s what this business is all about: trusting in something that may never show up, that you have no concrete proof of.”
Wentworth’s main hobby seems to be acting itself. The actor’s been in plays as a kid and went through hundreds of auditions before becoming a known star.
Miller hasn’t talked much about politics but has spoken about his past depression and suicidal thoughts, concerned for others who might be going through a similar experience. He’s talked about struggling with his sexuality (now openly gay) and episodes of depression both as a teenager as an adult. He has also refused to attend the Saint Petersburg International Film Festival because of Russian laws against the LGBT community.
Considering how he’s kept his personal issues private during the years, only coming out as gay in 2013, it’s not surprising it’s difficult to find any information on the actor’s dating life. It’s unknown whether he’s currently seeing anyone or is just single.
