Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt is an American actor. His breakout role came in 2009 as Andy Dwyer in NBC’s Parks and Recreation comedy series in which he starred in for seven seasons. Pratt transitioned to leading man roles in A-list movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, The Lego Movie and Jurassic World.

Born on June 21, 1979, Chris Pratt came from a humble working-class family background. In his early twenties Pratt dropped out of community college, moved to Hawaii and lived homeless, sometimes in a tent, sometimes by crashing in a van.

Chris was raised Lutheran and is openly Christian. When his son Jack was born nine weeks premature in 2012, Pratt said that he “prayed a lot” for a miracle to happen.

Pratt has been married twice. His current relationship is with Katherine Schwarzenegger, the eldest daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The two were married in June 2019, after a one-year courtship.

Chris Pratt was married to actress Anna Faris for eight years, from 2009 to 2017. They share a son, born in August 2012.

During Pratt and Faris’ divorce the couple released the following statement: “Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
