Gal Gadot, is an Israeli actress and model. Born on April 30, 1985, Gal has been taking the industry by storm. Gal served two years with the Israel army as a combat instructor, then attended law school before she got into acting and modeling. In 2004 Gadot was crowned Miss Israel.
Gal’s acting career began with an audition for the second of Daniel Craig’s James Bond films, Quantum of Solace. Though she did not land this one, the same casting director would hire Gal Gadot for the part of Giselle in the Fast and Furious series.
Gal’s screen career broke into the stratosphere when she was cast as the big screen version of Wonder Woman in Batman vs Superman before following it up in the 2017 smash hit Wonder Woman movie. Because of her time in the Israeli military, Gal enjoys action movies and playing a superhero like Wonder Woman.
Having been raised in a Jewish family, Gal is a Jew. She is very enthusiastic about talking to people about her religion and her country of origin, Israel.

When she is not acting or modeling, Gal will be found spending time with her family. She once tweeted that family is most important above all. She also loves motorcycles. One of her most prized possessions is a black 2006 Ducati Monster-S2R cycle.
Gal is also an avid sports player. Her favorite sports to play are tennis, basketball and volleyball.
Gal Gadot has portrayed herself as an outspoken Zionist following years of service with the Israeli army. She often tweets and posts on Facebook showing solidarity with Israeli army fighting against the Palestinians.
She has been married to an Israeli business man, Yarson Versano, since 2008.
The couple have two daughters named Alma and Maya.
Gal’s first name means ‘wave’ while the second one Gadot means ‘riverbanks’ in Hebrew.
She is the face of Gucci’s Bamboo perfume.
Gal was once up for the part of Gamora in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
Gal and her husband once owned a luxury hotel in Tel Aviv. In 2015 the couple sold it to a Russian businessman for $25 million.
