Katheryn Winnick or Katerena Anna Vinitska is a Canadian actress. Most people know her from her more most recent role in the TV series Vikings (2013). She also is well known from her roles in Amusement (2008) and Bones (2010). She was was born in Ontario near a placed called Etobicoke. She spoke her first language as Ukrainian and didn’t begin to speak English until she was 8. She started training in martial arts at the age of 7, and obtained her 1st black belt at the age of 13. By the age of 21, she had started 3 martial arts schools. She was later picked up in her first film Cold Souls.
She likes traveling and exploring what nature has to provide. She also love hiking especially on long distances. She is also a big fan of social media, but still prefers to talk to friends in person.

Katheryn Winnick has never been married and some people claim that she is a lesbian; a fact that she has never denied or accepted.
Her brother is also an actor named Markjan Winnick. When she was younger she won silver medals for Tae Kwon Do in the Canadian National finals. She is bi-lingual and can fluently speak Ukrainian as well as English.
