Tim Allen

Tim Allen or Timothy Allen Dick is an American actor, author, and comedian. Tim is well known for his role in the TV show Home Improvement as well as Last Man Standing. His career got started in 1975 when he performed at a Comedy show in Michigan. This led to him performing in other local shows. Eventually he moved out to Las Angeles where he landed some bigger movies. He has played major roles in movies like Galaxy Quest and the Santa Claus movies. Tim has also does some voice acting, and did the voice for Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story movies.

Tim is a Christian. He has been a Christian his whole life, even though at times he admits he wasn’t fully invested with his faith. Even though he doubted some things and was cynical at times, he still attended Church. However, he is now a strong Christian and has a good relationship with his faith.

He likes cars, autoracing, and being a general handyman. Being from Michigan, he has always enjoyed cars. A lot of his hobbies carry over into his show Last Man Standing, where you can see his other interest like fishing, hunting, etc.

Random Facts

When Tim was only 11, he lost his father. His father was killed when a drunk driver hit his car. This played a big role on his life and even made him questino his faith. A few years after his father’s death, his mother got married to her high school sweatheart. They all moved to Detroit Michigan. Tim also has five siblings.
